TQ Making Waves inside a Resin Pendant
Today I tried to use some colored resin ink to make waves inside a resin pendant. It’s not easy to make the definitions of the waves; can’t mix it too much. Did a few trial and errors to have some nicer results.
The tools & materials I used for making this Waves pendant are very basic and simple stuff. I have used:
- UV Resin
- UV Lamp
- White Resin Coloring
- Blue Resin Coloring
- Pendant Frame
- Sticker for back of pendant
- Silicon Stick
These are all that I need. The difficulty part is where you make the waves realistic. It takes a bit of trial & error as well as practice to achieve a nice 'wavy' effect.
I've seen a lot of tutorial videos online where crafters made bigger beach/waves creations and they use a blower to create the ripple effects of the waves. My pendant area is too small, so I did not try using that. Maybe next time if I'm making a bigger project, I'll test it and will film the experience down to share with you all.
